Six am snooze button

Julie/MEG TO:

6 am:  My iphone alarm sounds to the theme song of House, Massive Attack - teardrop http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fG8eQBSp9Ao . I hit the snooze. 
The cat is nibbling at my toes and poking his head into my face because he wants breakfast. I try to find my motivation. At this moment I remember that I bought that fancy brew master coffee maker that you can program to make coffee before you wake. I lie there wondering why I did not set it. That for certain would get me out of bed. Okay lazy bones get up its work out time.
6:20 Am the coffee is brewed and I have my equipment set up in the living room. Hand weights, yoga matt and swissball.  Here is my routine that tones your body for bathing suit season in less than an hour.
1.     Wall Squat - with 8 pound hand weights and swissball , 2 sets of 16
2.     Push up – okay I do the girl version , 2 sets of 16 
3.     Bent over rows – with 8 pound hand weights, 2 sets of 16
4.     Military Press – with 8 pound hand weights, 2 sets of 16
5.     Upright row – with 8 pound hand weights, 2 sets of 16
6.     Triceps Kickbacks – with 8 pound hand weights, 2 sets of 16
7.     Wall Squat – one but hold it as long as you can
8.     Biceps Curls - – with 10 pound hand weights, 2 sets of 16
9.     Leg Curls – with 8 pound hand weights, 2 sets of 16
10.   Bent-Leg knee Raise – with 8 pound hand weights, 2 sets of 16
11.   Swiss Ball Crunch– 4 sets of 16
12.   Oblique V-up – two set of 16 on each side
13.   Saxon Side Bend – with 8 pound hand weights, 2 sets of 16 each side




Buy now my daughter is waking up since the cat is purring too loud. Pour myself a second cup of coffee and get breakfast started.  I think today we will have oatmeal with pumpkin seeds, raisins and a teaspoon of peanut butter mixed in.
